Kevin Mullins is the Director of the Alabama Center for Trauma Therapy and a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping individuals struggling with trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety
Kevin obtained his BA in Psychology from Auburn University in 1999 and his MEd in Counseling from Auburn in 2007. Kevin spent over ten years as the primary therapist on the inpatient Psychiatric Unit at East Alabama Medical Center and has been the Director of the Alabama Center for Trauma Therapy since 2017.
Kevin is passionate about helping individuals struggling to manage the difficulties of every day life as well as those who are burdened by traumatic events.
Kevin is certified in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in treatment.
Hannah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over five years of experience in counseling individuals who have been affected by trauma. She is passionate about joining with individuals in their darkest seasons of life to help them find clarity, peace, and strength. Hannah specializes in treating individuals of all ages and walks of life who are facing PTSD, depression, anxiety, and family conflict; as well as those who are navigating life after sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, grief, and violent crimes. Hannah also has extensive experience working with children, teens, and young adults.
Hannah received her B.S. of Psychology from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2011 and her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health from Troy University at Montgomery in 2016. Additionally, she received her Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2023.
Hannah is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and also utilizes solution-focused and DBT therapeutic interventions along with play therapy for children and adolescents. She operates from a family systems approach and encourages parents, partners, or other family members to participate in the therapeutic process.
Ilia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TFCBT). She focuses on assisting individuals heal and recover from traumatic experiences. Ilia tailors services to her clients and has extensive experience with children, adolescents, and young adults. Ilia has worked with victims and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, traumatic grief, and PTSD.
Ilia graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and addiction in 2018. She obtained her Master’s degree and an Education Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University at Montgomery.
Ilia uses a cognitive behavioral approach to treatment with methods that are both person-centered and solution-focused. She also uses play therapy techniques with her child and adolescent clients.
